About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal contract opportunity concerning hotel accommodation services. The incumbent contractor is performing these services under previous contract number 70Z08425PDL940034. The quote due date is March 6, 2026, as posted on www.sam.gov. Bidders must maintain the group at a single, consistent hotel property throughout each month, though the property may change between months—however, this structure was clarified as not permissible under the solicitation requirements, meaning a single hotel must be used for the entire contract period. Bidders must provide the full total amount of single and double rooms as specified; partial bids or use of multiple hotels to meet room requirements are not acceptable.

The facility must minimally meet rating requirements of three stars for a Mobile Travel Guide rating, three-star hotel class rating, three diamonds for an American Automobile Association (AAA) rating, or Google ratings/AAA Star ratings of 3 or more. The outdated Cranley Rating Level six requirement has been removed from the Statement of Work. Notably, the government identified a specific concern regarding the DoubleTree in San Pedro: closure of a nearby bridge will negatively impact commute times. This same response was provided when asked about the Crowne Plaza's blacklist status, suggesting bridge closure concerns may affect multiple properties in the area.
