About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation 70Z08426QALAM0001, a surveillance equipment installation project for the United States Coast Guard. The project involves miscellaneous cable and labor only, with all equipment being provided by the Government. Work will be performed at two locations: USCG Sector Los Angeles Long Beach (1001 S Seaside Ave, San Pedro, CA 90731) and USCG Sector San Diego (2710 N Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101). The approved hardware manufacturers are Bosch for the Access Control System and Axis for the video recording system; no external software is required as these companies provide integrated solutions. The modular SCIF containers are already on-site at both locations and cannot be transported, requiring contractors to perform work at both LA/LB and San Diego locations.
Contractor personnel must be United States citizens; no security clearances, DD Form 254, or facility access documentation is required, as the space is not accredited to hold classified information. Site visits can be arranged by contacting IS1 Michael Lopez at the LA/LB location or IS3 John Yarrusso at the San Diego location. The expected performance start date will be no longer than two months following the award date. Sensitive facility design documents and photographs have been removed from the Statement of Work due to security considerations. This is a brand new requirement with no incumbent contractor. Question 7 regarding required manufacturers or specific product lines beyond the Statement of Work specifications was asked but not answered in this document.
