About this file

This document is a Standard Form 30 (SF30) Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a U.S. Coast Guard procurement. The amendment, issued on 03/20/2025, addresses a solicitation (RFQ 70Z08425QDL940007) for thirty (30) Invictus Mounted/Dismounted Single COMM and thirty (30) Mounted/Dismounted PRC148/152 Bailout AD accessories. The procurement is for push-to-talk connectors and adapter cables compatible with Peltor Headsets, with a performance location at USCG Port Security 312 in San Francisco, CA. The solicitation is unrestricted, with NAICS code 423690, and will be awarded on a firm fixed-price basis using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method. Offers were due by 03/21/2025 at 14:00 Pacific Time, to be submitted via email to roderick.c.pagador@uscg.mil.

The amendment includes a question and answer section addressing radio equipment options, specifically noting vendor recommendation of the dual-channel AN/PRC-163 radio due to its advanced waveform capabilities, while the government's specific requirement remains focused on the push-to-talk connector/lead and adapter cable. The solicitation is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Logistics Division (USCG LOG-94) located in Alameda, CA, and requires the contractor to sign and return one copy of the amendment document.

QUESTIONS

Q1) We have two options for a handheld radio: the dual-channel AN/PRC-163 and the AN/PRC-152A. As most military units are transitioning to FALCON IV products due to their waveform capabilities, the AN/PRC-163 is recommended since it effectively functions as two radios in one.

A1) Our requirement is for a push to talk connector/lead, plus an adapter cable.
