About this file

This document is a Sources Sought notice from the United States Coast Guard seeking information from contractors interested in fabricating and delivering buoy parts. The Coast Guard requires aluminum and metal buoy parts in accordance with twelve provided drawings and specifications to support its Aids to Navigation units across the country. Interested parties are requested to complete a questionnaire by November 15, 2018 regarding their ability to provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment and facilities to fabricate and deliver buoy parts to multiple Coast Guard destinations. The Government intends to award a requirements-type contract with a base year and four option years to begin in April 2019. The contract will include an economic price adjustment for steel and fuel. The applicable NAICS code is 332999 for miscellaneous fabricated metal product manufacturing and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The Coast Guard will determine if a small business set-aside is possible based on responses received.
