About this file

This document is a set of questions and answers regarding the scope of work for a federal contract opportunity to provide a complete IP CCTV system at the USCG Base in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

The key details are:

  • The facility is a mix of office and dormitory space, with concrete block walls and a drop ceiling. The power is stable, but the extent of required cabling and conduit is unknown.
  • The CCTV system requires a command and control center, with a minimum of two monitors. All existing cameras are to be replaced, and the brand is Bosch. The system should provide 360-degree views in the lobby and office areas, and one exterior camera covering the parking lot. Storage for at least one year of video is required.
  • The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation #70Z08124QELIZ0012, a firm-fixed-price contract to provide the CCTV system at the USCG Base in Elizabeth City. It is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 561621, with a size standard of $25 million. Technical proposals will be evaluated using a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) approach. A site visit is strongly recommended on July 31, 2024.
