About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a federal solicitation for drydock services. The solicitation seeks drydock services for two Coast Guard cutters, the USCGC Myrtle Hazard and Oliver Henry, for fiscal year 2024. The procurement timeline is condensed due to planning to solicit for both cutters together. A ship check is required but the suggested location and date provided in Guam will not work; contractors should propose alternative locations and times on the West Coast that would be most convenient. Eligible offerors are invited to submit proposals with details on availability and pricing to perform drydocking of the two cutters.

Quesons:
1. Why such a condensed meline when POP doesn’t start unl June?
The Procurement Acquision Lead Time (PALT) allows for us to solicit for the two cuters combined.
2. We will need to perform a ship check, but in Guam by Friday will not work.
Is there another 154’ cuter on the West Coast, that would be available for a ship check?
Yes, there are many listed up and down the West Coast. Contractor would need to let us know when and where on the West Coast would be closest for them.
