Text version

The lift WILL need to travel inside the building. The dimensions given for the door opening are accurate. We did not catch the discrepancy between the building dimensions and the lift dimensions previously, and we do not currently have access to recheck the height of the actual lift due to a vessel being in the lift currently. That being said the rough estimate of the height of the lift based on the height of the door opening and the unit’s personnel visually assessing the distance between the top of the lift and the edge of the opening is 20’ (1’ clearance between the top of the lift and the door opening) The lift will need to be less than 21’ tall above rail top to accommodate travel inside the building.

The width of the opening is 25’. The current lift comes within “inches of the door frame on each side of the lift” as described by unit personnel.

The center rail to center rail measurement is 21’. The 23’ measurement on the drawing is from the outside edges of the concrete that encases the rails on each side of the boat slip.
