Answers provided 03 October 2024

This document provides United States Coast Guard (USCG) responses for questions that have been asked regarding sources sought 70Z03824QE0000045. Question numbers are provided simply as a reference and in no way infer a prioritization of the questions.

Number Question USCG Response 1 My Training Syllabus is not in Times New

Roman as required. Or, is it just the responses in the other documents?

The training syllabus can remain in its original format.

2 On the SOW, section 2.0 it talks about the NDT training for MT, PT, ET and UT. The hours listed, 20 each for MT and PT, and 40 each for ET and UT, is more of a Level I training per NAS-410. In NAS-410, MT and PT training is 32 Hours each and ET and UT is 80 hours each for Level II. So, to have one class go through all 4 methods, it would be a total of 6 weeks.

See Amendment 1 via SAM.gov

3 On the spreadsheet where I put the price, NDT Training IAW SOW 2.0 I am assuming is the cost for one class to go through all 4 methods, correct? I understand that when I put the cost for one class, it will auto calculate for column F to show the cost for 3 classes, but I just wanted to be sure of the hours to be able to give an accurate quote.

The unit price for the NDI Training CLIN 0001 and subsequent years should be for all four (4) methods and accommodate for a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 students.

The quantity or number of classes estimated for each Period of Performance (POP) is three (3), therefore, the estimated extended price is the three (3) classes per POP multiplied by unit price.
