About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for USCG Station Depoe Bay Electrical Installation solicitation 70Z03326QSEAT0007. The document addresses technical inquiries regarding the electrical installation project at U.S. Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay in Depoe Bay, Oregon. Key technical specifications clarified include: the existing emergency generator system rated at 23.0 KW/KVA with 120v/240v supply and 94.8 amps capacity; seven new circuits required to serve equipment in the galley, berthing rooms, recreation room, offices, and gym, including a residential electrical stove/oven, refrigerator, air handler unit, hot water heater, lighting, and outlets; and a new 100-amp, 120v/240v subpanel with 3-wire configuration matching the main panel. The government confirmed the new subpanel may be installed as close as practical to the existing emergency panel while maintaining code-required clearances and accessibility standards.
This solicitation is set aside 100% for small business under NAICS code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors) with a size standard of $19 million. The work requires all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for subpanel installation and branch circuit routing, with all work tied to the existing emergency generator distribution panel and compliant with the National Electrical Code. A mandatory site visit is required for all prospective quoters on June 17, 2026, at 0900 hours at the project location, with failure to attend rendering proposals non-responsive and ineligible for award. Interested parties must RSVP with Ava Stow at ava.m.stow@uscg.mil.
