Commercial doors must feature full-length continuous hinges, surface-mounted hydraulic closers, full-perimeter weatherstripping with bottom sweeps, adjustable aluminum thresholds, and reinforced lock strike plates. The contractor must relocate and re-integrate existing electronic access control systems (intercom, key reader, electric strike, power supplies, and wiring) with comprehensive functional testing in the presence of a government representative prior to final acceptance. All exterior joints and seams shall be sealed with fire-rated spray foam and high-performance, commercial-grade weatherproof sealant in black finish to ensure a fully watertight, weather-resistant building envelope free of air infiltration and interior condensation.

Work must be completed within 45 calendar days from submittal approval, during normal hours of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday, with prior COR approval required for extended hours. The contractor must submit all required documentation within 7 calendar days of award, including tradesman qualifications, reference photos, product data sheets, wind load rating documentation, and certificate of insurance, with the Coast Guard having 7 days to review and respond.
