Question Set 2
Solicitation: 70Z02322Q79100003 Date: July 25, 2022
Question 42: Is the USCG looking at this for 39 people in 1 boot camp for 1 week OR for 1 person in a boot camp every week, for 30 weeks? Any insight on how the 39 licenses will work with boot camp-style training would be helpful so we can accurately price that out.
Response: The Coat Guard is looking to provide 39 members with 1 boot camp at the member’s pace and at the member’s timeline. All boot camps do not have to be at the same time.
Question 43: Is the $242,000 spent on Infosec Institute last year also for 439 licenses, and for this same model - 400 for e-learning, 39 for Boot camp?
Response: The Government is not going to release this information because it could release pricing information that could harm to the incumbent contractor.
Question 44: We are performing independent research on the Pre-solicitation (70Z02322Q79100003). We would like to know if this is a brand-new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?
Response: See RFP document at subsection 1.10 at the top of page 5 of 10.
