About this file

This is a government response document to a Request for Information (RFI) for federal contract solicitation 70US0926R70093916 issued by the United States Secret Service (USSS).

The solicitation seeks a single firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a 5-year ordering period to supply new 40mm less lethal and smoke munitions, FN303 ammunition, and related components. The USSS requires all offerors to respond to every line item in the pricelist, and award will be made to one contractor only. Federal Excise Tax (FET) for applicable products must be built into each product's piece price rather than added separately to delivery order invoices. The procurement incorporates the Nonmanufacturer Rule (FAR 52.219-33) with brand-name requirements for Defense Technology, Combined Tactical Systems (CTS), and FN/FN303 products; however, no waiver is required, and authorized small-business resellers may furnish the specified OEM brand-name products regardless of the manufacturer's size status.
