About this file
This is an Amendment 1 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) containing clarifications and answers to frequently asked questions for federal contract opportunity 70US0925Q70092832, Housekeeping/Cleaning Services. The document addresses six substantive inquiries from potential offerors regarding insurance requirements, site visit attendance, and access to solicitation documents.
The RFQ specifies mandatory insurance requirements for contractors, including commercial general liability coverage with a minimum limit of $100,000.00, workers' compensation insurance as required by applicable federal and state laws, and employer's liability insurance with a minimum limit of $100,000.00. These requirements will be implemented through FAR 52.228-5 (Insurance, Work on a Government Installation) and will be incorporated into the final RFQ solicitation. The Government does not require to be named as an additional insured, and certificates of insurance are due after award rather than before award. Prime contractor insurance coverage is sufficient to cover subcontractor personnel performing on site. Additionally, the amendment clarifies that attendance at the mandatory September 10 site visit was required for offerors to be determined technically acceptable, and no additional site visits will be conducted. The complete RFQ package and all associated attachments are available on SAM.gov under RFQ No. 70US0926Q70092832.
