Vendor Questions (2) Clarification to Previous Questions

8. Although your spec mentions the ability to “provide a modular design that allows for card slots and lockers,” the spec does not actually request that this solicitation include any such alternative storage media. My understanding is that no such additional storage formats are needed or requested at this time.

Answer: This is correct. Additional formats are not being requested at this time.

9. When the time may come that USSS wishes to add either card slots or lockers to the installed system, a detailed discussion must take place about what, exactly, and how many, exactly, of each type of additional module will be needed. The available lockers are not generic in size or purpose. Card slots, for example, come in 8-slot modules, so an exact count would be required, not “10 to 20.”Also, perhaps you could expound on what “delivery scanning process” means.

Answer: How long getting the product to the installation location could take. To include security checks and vehicle x-ray.
