# Reference Offeror Question/Comment Government Response
1 RFQ, Page 3 of 18, Section I (Description of Agreement), and Page 4 of 18, Section 2.1 (Technical Specifications)
For the nitrile gloves ‐ It states “Cases” of 100 gloves. Do you mean “Boxes” of 100 gloves?
Yes. Normally packaged 100 gloves per box and 10 boxes per case.
2 RFQ, Page 4 of 18, Section 2.1 (Technical Specifications)
For the nitrile gloves ‐ Thickness states 5.9 mil.
• Gloves are measured in the finger, palm and cuff, where is that 5.9 mil?
• Or could you provide the current brand/model you are using so I could cross reference that?

3 RFQ I understand that this is a BPA and there will not be a minimum requirement.
• Could you provide the past history of what a typical order consists of? How many cases or boxes are purchased each time, ballpark figure?

5 RFQ, Page 2 of 18, Section I (Scope), paragraph 2
Each BPA Call will specify the specific quantities of cast polyethylene gloves or blue powder free nitrile gloves. Over the next 12-60 months a total estimated quantity of 8,600 cases (1,000 per case) cast polyethylene gloves in extra-large size per case;
estimated 310 cases (100 per case) blue powder free nitrile gloves in small size per case; estimated 310 cases (100 per case) blue powder free nitrile gloves in medium size; estimated 310 cases (100 per case) of blue powder free nitrile gloves in large size; and
In the past we used to receive the polyethylene gloves 10,000 per case. When we changed our request to 2.0 mil thickness that seemed to change.
1,000 per case is also fine for the nitrile gloves an estimated 650 cases (100 per case) blue powder free nitrile gloves in extra-large size may be ordered.
I am not certain how to interpret the order count.
• For example, it appears that you are expecting 8,600 cases of 1,000 boxes per case of the extra-large polyethylene gloves and 310 cases of 100 boxes per case of the small nitrile gloves.
• Polyethylene gloves generally come in boxes of 500 gloves, with 20 boxes in a case, for a total glove count of 10,000 per case.
• Nitrile gloves generally come in boxes of
100 gloves, with 10 boxes in a case, for a total glove count of 1,000 per case.
Please confirm the intended quantity of the above referenced solicitation.
