Disposal of Expired Inventory: Solicitation 70T01024Q7668N002 Questions
Question 1: I am reading over a presol for disposal of wipes and am curious how the product has to be discarded and or if it has to be discarded as I would have a long term use for this product regardless of expiration date.
Government Response: Attachment 1 – Statement of Work (SOW), Paragraph 4.0 states as follows: “The Contractor shall perform all necessary transport, scheduling and disposal actions…” (Page 1) and Paragraph
4.1 has been amended as follows: “All work shall be performed in strict accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and ordinances” and the Contractor shall “Provide an acceptance report of all materials received, to include truck count, pallet count per truck and weight. Please submit to the COR no later than two (2) business days after materials have been collected (Deliverable 1)” (Page 2) and the Contractor shall “Provide a certificate of disposal from the disposal facility that identifies the waste accepted and a certification of the disposal, date(s) of disposal, and identification of the disposal process used. Please submit to the COR no later than two (2) business days after the materials have been disposed of (Deliverable 2)” (Page 2). The Contractor is responsible for disposing the expired disinfectant wipes pursuant to any federal, state, and local codes and ordinances. The aforementioned acceptance report and certificate of disposal must be provided to the Government to comply with the requirements of the SOW.
Question 2: Will you issue a solicitation for the project listed above in 2024?
