About this file

This document is an Amendment (AMD0002) to a Federal Protective Service (FPS) solicitation for the Installation of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) at the US Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) facility located at 12500 Tukwila International Blvd, Tukwila, WA. The amendment modifies the original solicitation by providing a revised Statement of Work (SOW) and addressing several technical specifications, including changes to the alarm control panel requirements, integration with the Physical Access Control System (PACS), and glass break sensor installations.

Key modifications include specifying that the new alarm control panel must be a commercial-grade, UL-listed system from approved manufacturers (Honeywell/Ademco, Bosch/Radionics, or DMP), excluding Vindicator products. The amendment requires the contractor to integrate the IDS with the PACS to enable shunting functionality for specific doors, upgrade the PACS Freedom Bridge software, and install additional glass break sensors in various rooms. The project involves replacing the existing Bosch 9412GV4 panel, upgrading communication methods, and ensuring compatibility with the FPS MegaCenter alarm monitoring system. The contractor must complete the installation within 90 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and provide comprehensive documentation, training, and warranty services.
