Questions and Answers
1. We have identified two sets of errors in the post exhibit as follows:
The first error set affects the “Total Hours per week” and “Total Days per Week” columns for the rows from Building AZ2066, Post ID 1 to Building AZ7630, Post ID 1B. Within these 31 rows, 21 entries are incorrect. The primary problem is that the “Total Days per Week” entry is inconsistent with the “Operating Days” entry; as an example, in one case the Operating Days of “M-F-H” show a Total Days per Week of seven (7) instead of five (5). Whenever the inconsistent Total Days per Week entry occurred, the Total Hours per week were also inconsistent.
The second error set affects the “Total Days” and “Annual Hours” columns for the following rows:
• Building AZ0058, Post ID 5 shows 47 days and 399.50 hours but should be 250 days and
2125.00 hours
• Building AZ2086, Post ID 1 shows 365 days and 4015.00 hours but should be 250 days and
2750.00 hours.
• Building AZ7572, Post ID 1A shows 250 days and 2000.00 hours but should be 198 days and 1584.00 hours, assuming M,T,Th,F-H is 198 days, as per similar Operating Day entries.
• Building AZ7572, Post ID 1B shows 250 days and 1062.5 hours but should be 52 days and 221 hours, as per similar Operating Day entries.
• Building AZ0682, Post ID 1 shows 366 days and 5856.00 hours but should be 365 days and 5840 hours assuming 365 days per year as per similar Operating Day entries.
This second set appears to be completely independent and not reliant upon the first set, but the errors in this set do affect contractor estimation. The correction of the second error set results in a total of 204,574 Total Annual hours versus the 205,387 hours currently shown in the Post Exhibit.
Our comments above assume all values in the “Operating Days” column are correct.
Post Exhibit 13 revised and corrected. Please refer to Amendment 0001.
2. The Solicitation, on page 386, states that we should submit five (5) copies of the Technical and one original and one copy of the price submission. There is no mention of redacted copies or for submission of a CD. On page 379 of the Solicitation, there is the requirement for a package three with a CD containing specific items. Further, the Pre-Proposal Presentation says 3 of the 5 copies of the Technical Proposal should be submitted and a CD should also be submitted. Please clarify the submittal requirements.
