Quesons and Answers
1. Please clarify what level of Backoffice support is required from the contractor's IT resource pertaining to the implementaon of the PTS?
PTS requires that the Vendor provide working PTS configured On-Site Handheld Devices (OHD) that are enrolled in Intune have PTS OHD soware installed, updated with the current version of Windows, all required Licenses correctly acvated and installed, maintained and managed by warranty or service. The cellular service is also a requirement of the contract to be correct, acve, sufficient strength and sustainability to support the necessary wireless connecon for the PTS applicaon. These requirements may require back office support or IT knowledge that can be in-house or subcontracted. See SOW Secon 14.8 PTS Computer/Tablet/Kiosk Devices.
2. Please clarify the level of connued IT support that will be required by the contracture's IT resource during transion and throughout the duraon of the contract?
The previous menoned are a connuous process as all OHDs are the property and responsibility of the Vendor to manage and maintain. The cellular service is also a requirement of the contract to be correct, acve, sufficient strength and sustainability to support the necessary wireless connecon for the PTS applicaon that must be connuously monitored, managed, and maintained. Again, these requirements may require back office support or IT knowledge that can be in-house or subcontracted. See SOW Secon 14.8 PTS Computer/Tablet/Kiosk Devices.
3. If the contractor is in process of ataining a DC Security License, would the Government allow the contractor to operate within the Federal Enclave doctrine unl such license is received?
No, license would be required by the start of performance. Please see Secon 4.1.3 of the SOW.
The Contractor shall obtain, renew, and possess the required licenses and permits as specified under this contract and applicable federal, state, or local regulang agencies.
