Questions and Answers
70LGLY24QGLB000105
Off Center Lodging October 2024 to March 2025
1. Question: We are performing independent research on the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (70LGLY24QGLB000105). We would like to know if this is a brand new contract or if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current/previous contract number?
Answer: This is not a new contract. There have been multiple purchases orders awarded for these services under separate Request for Quotes (RFQs). Due to the numerous awards under separate RFQs, the award information cannot be provided under this request.
2. Question: If the offeror has completed the annual representations and certifications electronically on sam.gov, are any documents required to be sent via email other than the Hotel Services and Prices Form and hotel availability document?
Answer: As stated in the RFQ: “Your quote should only include the Hotel Services and Prices form; additional sheet is needed for availability clearly outlining dates which line item; signed Amendments; required documentation listed below; if you take exception to any of the terms and conditions of this RFQ; and if you are a 3rd party the authorization letters.” Also as stated in the RFQ: “The Offeror shall complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if the Offeror has completed the annual representations and certification electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM) accessed through https://www.sam.gov. If the Offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically, the Offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (v) of this provision.”
3. Question: Will the government consider modifying the reference to the price change in the current RFP, which would benefit both the government and the vendor making the price change, versus there being no benefit to a price change?
Answer: See Amendment 0001.
4. Question: If an interior corridor hotel has two stories and 24 rooms on the first floor, will the government allow first-floor lodging at a hotel with no elevator for classes of 24 students or less, when the first floor is reserve for “FLETC only?”
Answer: As stated in the RFQ: “Hotel/Motel must be equipped with a functional elevator with a current inspection from a license elevator inspector.” This requirement will not change.
5. Question: Is FLETC providing bidding preference for HUBZone offerors?
Answer: For this requirement, the answer is No. For other solicitation, the solicitation would let vendors know if a preference for HUBZone companies will be applied.
