2. What if the Property Management Company manages multiple sites?

4. What if a family wants to vacant after 8 months, will you fill the lease for the remaining 10 months with another tenant?

Answer: FEMA will re-assign a vacated unit when eligible applicants need Direct Temporary Housing Assistance, before the end of the period of assistance.

Answer: Yes. The cost is covered by the Property Manager. FEMA will not pay for background checks, pet deposits, or application fees.

6. Will the checks be mailed to the owner of the leased home?

Answer: FEMA will make an award to a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). A call order will be issued against the BPA. The property manager will be invoicing FEMA and in return the funds will be deposited directly to the property manager account. The property manager will then pay the homeowner.

7. If the tenant is not following the rules, can they be evicted?

Answer: Yes, the tenants are required to follow the rules set by the homeowner, property manager or FEMA.
