Text version

On 27 September 2024, the Contracting Officer received the following questions. Please see the Contracting Officer’s answers, in red:

1. Could you confirm if a 5% bid bond is required to be submitted with the bid? And would you accept an electronic version of it?

➢ Read and understand the requirements as it relates to this question in section 11 of the statement of work.

2. Are the pre-employment screenings and firearm permits required as part of the initial bid submission, or are they intended to be provided after the award? We have a large roster of officers, so it would be a significant amount of paperwork, but I want to make sure I submit everything that’s needed.

➢ Pre-Employment screening is done after the contractor has been selected.

➢ Please read and understand the evaluation criteria. It states what’s needed from the contractor to ensure that a successful proposal is submitted.

3. Lastly, can you confirm if we should submit the bid materials directly via this email? If not, could you please clarify the correct submission method?

➢ Section L of the solicitation stated the submittal process of the requirement.
