1. Is the elevator to access the vault currently in good operating condition and available for the contractor to use to access the worksite each day?Yes
2. Is this a low bid or best value soliciation?Reference Sections L and M of the solicitation.
3. What are the shutdown requirements to work on repair or alter the existing fire suppression system?Onsite Facilities will work with contractor on this. Facilities will handle Fire Department notfiication, fire alarm panel getting taken offline, shutting down the sprinkler system, draining system. Contractor completes work. System gets filled, fire alarm panel gets put back online and Fire Department gets notified.
4. Does FEMA hold Annual Maintech Contracts on any base building systems ie.. fire alarm, fire suppression, hvac, plumbing, electrical, security? If so, what is their contact information..This question unrelated to the requirement of this request for quote.
5. Are their any other special conditions the contractor needs to be aware of ?No
