About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) sheet for a document shredding services solicitation. The contract involves monthly document destruction services for facilities in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, with the New Orleans location requiring monthly service and the Baton Rouge facility requiring twice-monthly service. Key specifications include on-site shredding of paper documents, with CDs being the only potential non-paper media to be destroyed. The contractor must lift shred bins onto their truck, with designated loading dock areas available, and provide documentation of the number of bins shredded each day. The current contract ends August 31, 2025, and this is a new solicitation by the government. No badging will be required, and all personnel will be escorted while on premises. The agency will not extend the offer due date, provide incumbent contractor information, or disclose the previous contract's total award amount. No unforeseen mobile purging events or additional services are expected at this time.
