About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division under the Department of Administration for use in connection with federal contracts, grants, loans, and cooperative agreements. The form applies to the NDSP Wifi Services contract opportunity for the State of Nevada and serves as a required certification document for vendors and contractors participating in federally-funded procurement activities.

The certification requires the authorized signer to attest that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal officers, members of Congress, or their employees in connection with the award of federal contracts or grants. The form further mandates that if any non-federal funds are used for lobbying activities, the vendor must complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, "Disclosure of Lobbying Activities." The certification must be included in all subaward documents at all tiers and all subrecipients must certify and disclose accordingly. The document specifies that submission of this certification is a prerequisite for the transaction and is a material representation of fact. Any person failing to file the required certification is subject to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure, as established under section 1352 of the U.S. Code. The form requires completion with the date, solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, and authorized signature.
