About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, for solicitation number 70CNR-S3588 related to an Economic Impact Study on Composting in the State of Nevada. The form serves as a mandatory certification that must be completed and submitted by vendors as a prerequisite for contract award. The document requires the authorized representative of the vendor to certify that no Federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence Federal agency officials, Members of Congress, or Congressional employees in connection with the awarding of any Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement.
The certification imposes specific disclosure requirements on vendors that have paid or will pay non-Federal funds for lobbying activities in connection with the Federal contract. Vendors must complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, "Disclosure of Lobbying Activities," if such non-Federal lobbying expenditures occur. Additionally, vendors are required to include this certification language in all sub award documents at all tiers, including subcontracts and sub grants, and ensure that all sub recipients provide corresponding certifications and disclosures. Failure to file the required certification subjects violators to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure. The form requires completion of fields for the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, authorized signature, and date.
