This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) for Request for Quotation (RFQ) 70CMSW25Q00000001 for a Used/Junk Car Training Requirement to support the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Firearms and Tactical Programs (OFTP). The Q&A provides clarification on access for delivery vehicles, required documentation for entry, ownership of vehicles, and flexibility in vehicle retrieval and disposal after training exercises. Key details include:
The contract requires the delivery of used/junk vehicles to the Fiske Range on the Fort Moore (GA) military base. Commercial vehicles must access the base through the 8th Division Road commercial access point. Drivers and passengers are subject to criminal background checks, and vehicles must have valid registration and insurance. The government will not hold title to the vehicles, which are returned to the vendor for disposal after training. There is flexibility in the timing of vehicle retrieval post-training, with approval from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The vendor is responsible for vehicle disposal protocols after training, with no specific government requirements.
