About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ No. 70B03C26Q00000267, dated August 13, 2026, addressing procurement of solid oxide fuel cells and filter kits for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Spokane Sector.

The document addresses two key clarifications relevant to potential quoters. First, FAR clause 52.219-33 (Nonmanufacturer Rule) does not apply to this solicitation. Second, while current Redwire manufacturer or reseller authorization letters are not required to be included with quotes, resellers must possess legal authority to resell the items. The government reserves the right to reject quotations if the manufacturer will not honor its warranty or provide customary technical support and customer service due to the quoter lacking authorized reseller status.
