About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection for Marine Crew Gear Kits. The solicitation is a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract set aside exclusively for small businesses, with a NAICS code 339920 and a size standard of 750 employees. The government intends to purchase 143 kits in the base year, with potential additional purchases of 100 kits in each of four option years, to be delivered to the U.S. Border Patrol in Summit Point, West Virginia.
Contractors must submit quotations by April 28, 2025, at 3 PM MST via email to RFQ-03C25Q0202@cbp.dhs.gov. The submission must include three separate files: a pricing quote in Excel, a signed Standard Form 1449, and component product description sheets. Each Marine Crew Gear Kit will contain 16 specific items including a marine duffel bag, marine knife, multi-tool, flashlight, waterproof case, emergency strobe, compact binoculars, bump helmet, personal flotation device, headlamp, leg shroud, personal locator beacon, waterproof medical kit, throw bag, waterproof bag, and seatbelt cutter. The government will evaluate quotations on past performance, component description sheets, and price, with non-price factors being more important than price.
