Quesons and Answers 70B03C23Q0000002000

All-Terrain Vehicles

Q.1. We were informed by Can-Am Rep the Outlander DPS 450 is disconnued and has been replaced by the Outlander DPS 500. Is this a suitable replacement, or would you like a different model in its place?

A.1. Yes, this is a suitable replacement. The Government had heard that as well but were offering vendors the ability to sell their DPS 450 supplies and then move to the DPS 500 to fulfill the order.

Q.2. In section 5.1.2, ATV Paint and Colors, it's stated that the preferred colors are green, tan, or camouflage with black powder coated accessories. Is there a quantity per color, or it doesn't matter as long as they are one of the three colors mentioned above?

A.2. No specific quantities for each color. We realize that it would be difficult to procure this many ATVs all in the same color, so the Government offered color options.

Q.3. In section 5.1.2, ATV Paint and Colors, it's stated that the preferred colors are green, tan, or camouflage with black powder coated accessories. Is there a quantity per color, or it doesn't matter as long as they are one of the three colors mentioned above?

A.3. No specific quantities for each color. We realize that it would be difficult to procure this many ATVs all in the same color, so we offered color options.

Q.4. If we have already submitted a quote will you accept a new, revised quote.

A.4. Yes, any quote received prior to the revised due date will be accepted and evaluated IAW the solicitation provisions. As a reminder, this procurement is lowest priced technically acceptable, and only the lowest priced quote will be evaluated for technical capability. If the lowest priced quote is not acceptable, the Government will evaluate the next lowest priced quote.

Q.5. Are all of the accessories in SOW paragrah 5.2 required?

A.5. Yes, any quote that doesn’t explicitly mention that the accessories will be sourced and installed prior to delivery will be found NOT to be technically acceptable.

Q.6. Are all the accessories in SOW paragraph 5.2 available from the manufacturers?

A.6. It is the Government’s understanding that not all accessories are available from the manufacturers of the requested ATVs. However, it is incumbent on the quoters to verify sourcing and availability of accessories, and ensure their quote includes this pricing.
