Q1. Who is the present provider, Dish or DirecTV?
A1. DISH
Q2. Are you keeping the existing account?
A2. The existing account is with the vendor
Q3. How many wires are run from the satellite dish into the building?
A3. 8
Q4. What is the distance from the satellite dish to the equipment in the Auditorium (length of cable)?
A4. Approximately 350’
Q5. What is the brand and model number of the existing modulators?
A5. Motorola SEM V8, Motorola DSR-650 (Receiver), Cable Tronix DRAKE Digital -DAD860a
Q6. If new modulators are needed, will they be SD Digital or HD?
A6. High Definition (HD)
Q7. Is present distribution RF or IPTV (cable RG-6 or CAT5)?
A7. RG-6
Q8. Future locations, who will be responsible to run wire from equipment to new location?
A8. Vendor Q9. Does the IRS currently have TV Service for these approximate 120 TVs? A9. Yes.
Q10. If so, with what carrier? Comcast, Directv? A10. DISH Q11. I am hoping to find out if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing these services, if similar services have been performed in the past, or if this is a new requirement. If there is an incumbent, could you please provide the contract or task order number?
