About this file

This is a University of New Mexico (UNM) Proposed Sole Source Purchase Form for procurement of scheduling software services from QGenda. The Department of Internal Medicine submitted the request on September 3, 2026, under requisition number 186534254. The procurement seeks QGenda's unified workforce platform designed specifically for healthcare industry scheduling needs, including capabilities for credentialing, time and attendance tracking, emergency personnel location, exam room management, and workforce analytics. The term of purchase is Net 30 days, with the vendor address listed as 3280 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 1400, Atlanta, Georgia 87131.

The proposed contract amount is $200,000. UNM justifies this sole source procurement based on QGenda's proprietary, customizable software built from the ground up to address the specific requirements of Internal Medicine and its various medical specialties, distinguishing it from competitors offering only canned scheduling software such as Perfect Serve and TCP. The department's due diligence included comparative evaluation of alternative vendors and review of available medical scheduling systems. QGenda's competitive advantage includes dedicated IT technical support for software modifications, integrated services beyond scheduling that eliminate the need for multiple external vendors, and award-winning customization capabilities. The purchase will be posted on the UNM Sunshine Portal and the State of New Mexico Procurement website for 30 days prior to execution, as required by New Mexico procurement law.

Looking at Perfect Serve and TCP, Qgenda was the only award-winning system that builds a system from the ground up that is tailored to all the medical specialties that are housed within Internal Medicine and made them the best choice for the scheduling services that we need.

List the other vendors who were contacted. Please describe the specs/qualifications/criteria that the other vendors were unable to satisfy.
