About this file

This document is a certification form for ITB 261201 Landscape Services issued by Lubbock County, Texas, specifically for landscape services at the Medical Examiner's Office. The form establishes compliance requirements for vendors participating in this procurement and addresses two primary certification obligations under Texas state law.

The certification form requires vendors to declare their exemption status or compliance with two specific prohibitions mandated by the Texas Legislature. Vendors are exempt from certification if they are sole proprietorships, non-profit entities, or companies with fewer than 10 full-time employees, or if the contract value is below $100,000. Vendors that do not qualify for exemption must certify that they do not boycott energy companies as defined under Section 2274.002 of the Texas Government Code and that they do not discriminate against firearm entities or firearm trade associations as defined under Section 2274.001. The form provides two certification options for vendors to mark: either claiming exemption status or affirming compliance with both the energy company and firearm entity non-discrimination requirements. All vendors must execute the form with a signature, as completion is mandatory for bid consideration.
