About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for the Kimball Middle School Furniture procurement by U-46 School District. The addendum provides clarifications and responses to vendor questions regarding furniture specifications, including requirements for chair models NL3060_EF with fixed height and casters, and specifying the S0 Limited Synchro-Tilt mechanism. Vendors are required to sign and return this addendum as part of their proposal submittal package through the Bonfire platform, with failure to do so potentially resulting in disqualification.
The document includes critical logistical details for furniture delivery, noting that deliveries must be made to door 6, with trucks limited to 40' in length and requiring a lift gate for unloading. Kimball Middle School has three floors and a passenger elevator with weight limitations. The district maintains strict specifications, indicating that items must meet the exact make and model requirements outlined in Appendix A, with no alternate manufacturers or items to be considered unless specifically approved. Vendors are expected to provide acknowledgement statements for each requirement and follow all specified submission guidelines.
