About this file

This is a minimum insurance requirements document for Broward County's Parks and Recreation Division regarding the supply and delivery of a water trailer. The document establishes comprehensive insurance coverage requirements for contractors, though it specifically notes that no proof of insurance is required if delivery will be made by common carrier. The project involves supplying and delivering water trailer equipment to Broward County, with the certificate holder being Broward County at 115 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301.

The insurance requirements specify minimum liability limits including $500,000 for combined bodily injury and property damage under general liability coverage, $500,000 for auto liability (though this may be waived if no driving is required), statutory limits for worker's compensation, and $100,000 for employer's liability. Additional coverage types include excess/umbrella liability, pollution/environmental liability, and professional liability for engineering and design professionals, with various deductible limits ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 depending on coverage type. The document requires Broward County to be named as an additional insured, mandates that the contractor's insurance provide primary coverage without requiring county contribution, includes waiver of subrogation in favor of Broward County, and for claims-made policies, requires insurance maintenance and evidence provision for at least three years after contract completion.
