About this file

This file consists of exhibit materials and definitions supporting a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) issued by the City of Dallas, Texas for a three-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) service price agreement for median maintenance services. The contract scope encompasses mowing, litter removal, landscaping, and herbicide application within Dallas's corporate boundaries, with services to be ordered on an as-needed basis throughout the agreement term. The exhibit materials include applicable City ordinances governing vegetation maintenance, litter control, and stormwater discharge prohibitions, establishing the regulatory framework within which contractors must operate. Key ordinances address the prohibition of depositing trash on streets and sidewalks, requirements for property owners to maintain weed-free sidewalks and gutters, prohibitions on sweeping litter into public areas, and restrictions on discharging non-stormwater materials into drainage systems, including specific prohibitions on grass clippings being blown into storm drains.

The exhibit definitions establish operational standards and performance management procedures applicable to contractor performance under the agreement. Contractors are required to remove trash, debris, weeds, and fallen branches while adhering to all City ordinances and approved disposal methods. The definitions establish a quality assurance framework including inspection protocols, deficiency notification with 24-hour correction periods, and non-conformance procedures allowing three business days for correction of reoccurring deficiencies. The contract incorporates liquidated damages provisions to compensate the City for incomplete or late performance. The file does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or specific award dates, though the contract is structured as an ID/IQ agreement reflecting variable service quantities and scheduling requirements typical of ongoing municipal maintenance operations.
