7. Attachment A - State of Colorado Observed Holidays 2025-2026.pdf

Attachment A is a document from the State of Colorado listing the official state-observed holidays for the years 2025-2026. The document provides a comprehensive list of 12 holidays that will be recognized during this two-year period, including both federal and state-specific holidays such as Mother Cabrini Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

The holidays are specifically noted with their exact dates, showing the day of the week and full date for each holiday. Most holidays fall on Mondays, with a few exceptions like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day, which are on Thursdays. Independence Day in 2026 is unique in that it falls on a Saturday. This list serves as an official reference for state employees and potentially for contractors or vendors working with the State of Colorado, helping to establish expectations for operational schedules and potential work interruptions during these designated holidays.
