About this file
This is Addendum 1 to Request for Proposal 26-14 issued by the Board of Public Education for the City of Savannah and the County of Chatham (Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools System, or SCCPSS) in Georgia for fire alarm monitoring, testing, inspection, and repair services under an annual contract. The District will develop the annual fire alarm inspection schedule, which must be completed between March and June. The successful Offeror will be responsible for establishing the specific timing of inspections within this timeframe. Site visits and other pre-bid activities are not mentioned in this addendum.
The addendum clarifies four key points relevant to proposal preparation: the District will not provide prior inspection reports containing device counts and model numbers of fire alarm panels; SCCPSS has already completed dialers for monitoring and therefore will not accept Time and Materials (T&M) pricing for dialers; fire sprinkler inspection services are excluded from this contract as they are managed by a separate contractor; and Offerors should not include fire sprinkler inspection pricing in their proposals. No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, or funding details are specified in this addendum document.
