About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to Request for Proposal 26-0262 issued by the City of Fort Worth's Financial Management Services Purchasing Division for HVAC Filters to be supplied to City departments on an as-needed basis. The addendum, issued August 27, 2026, modifies the original RFP issued August 12, 2026, by removing line items 1-122 and 1-123 from Bid Table BT-56FT and adding Bid Table BT-35PU. The bid opening date remains September 3, 2026. The solicitation covers a range of filter types including antimicrobial pleated HVAC filters (minimum MERV 8, compliant with ASHRAE Standard 52.2 and UL 900), rigid box filters, autoroll filters, bag filters for fresh air units, HEPA filters, and dust collection filters with varying MERV ratings specified for individual line items. Filters will be delivered to multiple City locations including the Water Department, Meacham International Airport, Spinks Airport, and various PMD/Facilities locations, with palletized delivery required. Vendors are not required to bid on all items and may submit pricing for any portion of the RFP.
The City reserves the right to award the contract to a single vendor, multiple vendors on a non-exclusive basis, or to designate primary and secondary vendors. Air Relief Technologies Inc. is the current contractor, with the contract awarded on December 14, 2021. No bid bond, performance bond, or payment bond is required. The quantities listed in the bid table represent estimated annual quantities based on previous usage and do not guarantee future purchases; actual orders will be issued on an as-needed basis by authorized City employees. Samples are not required for this solicitation. The addendum includes a comprehensive Questions and Answers section addressing 73 inquiries regarding filter specifications, MERV ratings, part numbers, delivery logistics, packaging options, and procurement procedures. Vendors must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by returning the signed form with their sealed bid, with failure to do so potentially resulting in rejection of the offer.
