About this file
This document is an Addendum for Request for Proposal (RFP) 031-25 for the Cybersecurity Pilot Program 2025 issued by Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) in Jonesboro, Georgia. The RFP seeks a comprehensive cybersecurity solution covering endpoint, email, cloud, network, and operational technology security for the district's approximately 60,000 users across 67 schools. The pre-proposal conference was held on July 8, 2025, via Zoom, with responses to the RFP due by 3:00 PM EST on August 11, 2025. The district is looking for a fully managed Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution that includes both on-premise and cloud-based threat detection, with a preference for alignment with NIST compliance frameworks.
The current technology environment includes Cisco Secure Endpoint, Cisco Umbrella, Palo Alto firewalls, and Google Workspace, with 111,424 total endpoints (including 16,654 Windows endpoints, 91,000 ChromeOS devices, and 345 servers). The district expects around $2 million in E-rate Cybersecurity Pilot Program funding and is seeking a single-vendor solution that can integrate with existing systems, particularly Google Workspace. Key requirements include a customizable dashboard acting as a single pane of glass, direct remediation capabilities, monthly reporting, and the ability to take direct incident response actions. The district emphasizes the importance of automation due to limited staff and requires all data to reside in the United States.
