About this file
This document is a Maintenance Bond for the City of Fort Worth, Texas, specifically for the 2026 Concrete Restoration Contract 1 (City Project No. 106177). The project involves concrete pavement restoration with approximately 7,950 square yards of 9" concrete pavement, 2,000 square yards of 7" concrete pavement, 2,750 cubic yards of flex base, and 12,450 square yards of geogrid. The maintenance bond provides a two-year warranty period after the final acceptance of the work, during which the principal contractor is obligated to repair or reconstruct any defective work upon receiving notice from the City.
The bond is structured to ensure the quality and durability of the construction work, with the principal and surety jointly responsible for addressing any defects. The total bond amount is not specified in the provided document, but it covers the entire scope of the concrete restoration project. The bond includes provisions for successive recoveries for multiple breaches and specifies that any legal actions related to the bond must be filed in Tarrant County, Texas, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division.
