About this file

This is a Presolicitation Notice/Advertisement for a Real Property Leasing (RLP) procurement issued by the General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service.

GSA seeks to lease approximately 44,000 to 44,121 assignable square feet of office space in Grand Rapids, Michigan, within the central business district bounded by 6th Street/Newberry Street/Bradford Street (north), Wealthy Street (south), Scribner Avenue and US 131 (west), and Lafayette Avenue (east). The lease requires a 24-month firm term with no option periods. The space must include four structured parking spaces and be fully serviced. Additional requirements mandate compliance with federal standards for fire safety, accessibility, seismic resilience, and sustainability; the space cannot be located in any designated floodplain. Entities must comply with Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act regarding telecommunications prohibitions and register in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov).

Expressions of Interest are due by May 21, 2026, with an estimated market survey date of May 25, 2026, and estimated occupancy of October 1, 2026. The Government will evaluate alternative space based on economic advantage, considering relocation costs including physical move expenses, tenant improvement replication, telecommunications infrastructure, and agency downtime. Interested parties should submit responses to Keith Harris, Leasing Specialist, at winfred.harris@gsa.gov. The Lease Contracting Officer is Christopher Tinari.
