About this file
This is a Statement of Work for the complete replacement of an obsolete Load Moment Indicator (LMI) System on an Appleton Marine crane, model EB190-80-40, serial number 11213, installed aboard the self-propelled crane barge MARY ANN. The project consists of two primary phases: removal of the existing Markload LMI System and installation of a new 24-volt DC system.
The removal phase requires the contractor to strip all existing sensors, junction boxes, cabling, display units, and control unit wiring from the crane. The installation phase requires the contractor to purchase a complete new LMI system from Appleton Marine, Inc., including updated technical and assembly drawings and operation manuals, and engage Appleton Marine Field Engineer support for on-site technical assistance during installation and programming. Following component installation and connection, the contractor must conduct operational testing to the satisfaction of both the Appleton Marine Field Technician and customer, provide OSHA crane inspector services for re-certification, and manage all handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste generated during the work in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations at the contractor's expense.
