About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation 6991PE26Q000001 issued by the Department of Transportation for Hazardous Waste Disposal Services. The procurement is a total small business set-aside open to all small business contractors under NAICS code 562112. The Government will not provide historical waste profiles, manifests, or copies of previous pickups; quoters must base pricing on maximum quantities listed in the Statement of Work and Price Sheet using the unit specifications in Column B of the Price Sheet for each performance period. Waste pickup occurs as needed, typically every 3 months, with the Government identified as a large quantity generator holding EPA ID CA5690090571.
Personnel accessing the site require only ID verification at the gate with no security clearance needed. An Environmental Specialist and 2 SBRF employees will be on-site during pickups. No site visit is planned, but Attachment 1 provides a map showing the main gate access point and hazmat drum staging area. The incumbent contractor is Industrial Waste Utilization. Quoters cannot request the opportunity be opened to large businesses as this is a firm small business set-aside. The document does not establish response dates, award dates, or specific pricing structures, as those details are contained in the referenced SOW and Price Sheet documents.
