About this file
This is Amendment A003 to solicitation 6982AF23B000023 issued by the Federal Highway Administration's Central Federal Lands Highway Division for improvements on Jones Street and North Kealy Avenue in Denton County, Texas. The amendment modifies the solicitation by replacing pages B-8, B-9, C-5, and C-17, primarily removing several clauses related to equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements including 52.222-21 (Prohibition of Segregated Facilities), 52.222-26 (Equal Opportunity), 52.222-27 (Affirmative Action Compliance Requirements for Construction), and 1252.222-72 (Contractor Cooperation in Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Harassment Investigations).
The amendment does not change any fundamental aspects of the solicitation itself, which remains a firm fixed price construction contract. The solicitation's original date was 01/22/2025, and this amendment is effective 02/25/2025. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the bid submission deadline to avoid potential rejection of their offer. Acknowledgment can be made by completing items 8 and 15 of the amendment form, acknowledging receipt on each copy of the submitted offer, or via separate letter/electronic communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers.
