Statement of Work for the Pensacola International Airport (PNS) Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) Relocation Revised December 8, 2021

Work includes but is not limited to:

1. Locate underground utilities in work areas utilizing detection equipment, drawings provided by the FAA, and drawings provided by the airport authority.

2. Construction of concrete footings for the ASOS sensor pedestals, wind tower, electrical equipment frame, tower saddle, and DCP mounting poles.

3. Providing power to new ASOS, including trenching for and burial of new power wire from existing ASOS site, an estimated distance of 780 feet. Wire to be buried a minimum of 24” below grade at all points.

4. Relocation of wind pole. Pole is 33’ in length.

5. Relocation of ASOS sensors, DCP, and associated wire raceway. Sensor wire disconnection and reconnection to be done by National Weather Service.

6. Placement of north marker and wind tower marker in concrete at locations marked by surveyor. Markers to be provided by FAA. Survey has been completed and is not within the scope of this project.

7. Construction of electrical equipment frame and mounting of disconnects and transformer.

8. Running and connection of all power wires at new ASOS site.

9. Power to site to be provided by others. See drawings for details.
