About this file
This is a Market Survey issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Western Service Area, Northwest Mountain Region, to assess marketplace capability and competition for consolidated elevator maintenance services at two Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) facilities in Hawaii.
The FAA seeks to contract for comprehensive elevator maintenance at the Kona ATCT (73-230 Wekeula St., Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740) and Honolulu ATCT (760 Worcester Ave., Honolulu, Hawaii 96818). The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to maintain elevators in substantially the same condition regarding performance, cleanliness, safety, wear, and appearance as at the contract start. The contractor must perform all tasks identified in the Statement of Work (SOW) according to minimum defined standards and frequencies and assume responsibility for all administrative requirements. The intended NAICS code is 238990 (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors). The SOW is subject to change before final solicitation. The survey will determine whether adequate competition exists to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB/8(a)), Small Businesses, or full and open competition. The FAA will not reimburse vendors for any costs associated with survey responses.
Interested vendors must submit responses electronically to John.G-CTR.Space@faa.gov by 4:00 PM Pacific Time on July 28, 2025, including company name and DBA, address, phone, point of contact, email, business size status (8(a), Small Business, SDVOSB, VSB, etc.), and verification of active System for Award Management (SAM) registration. Responses will be used for planning purposes only, with proprietary information protected if appropriately marked. The market survey may result in either one consolidated contract or multiple contracts for the identified locations.
