About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a crane service contract for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to replace one cab glass unit on the Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in Corpus Christi, Texas. The project requires a crane vendor to provide a mobile crane capable of lifting a 12-foot tall, 4,000-pound glass unit to an elevation of approximately 101-110 feet above ground level, with a crane tip height not exceeding 161 feet.
The vendor must perform a site visit, develop a comprehensive lift plan with CAD-generated drawings, provide a licensed crane operator, and handle all mobilization, permitting, and potential infrastructure damage. The work is scheduled for two days (with a contingency day), and the vendor must submit detailed documentation including crane specifications, operator certifications, and current crane inspection reports. The FAA Team Lead Technician will oversee and approve the work upon completion. This requirement is part of a market survey to assess potential vendors for the crane support services, with responses due by April 10, 2025.
