Answer
A copy of the certificate of Performance and Annex is attached.
Every site is not visited annually by either AVS Internal Audits or by the
Registrar.
There is one shift. For head count, please see AVS Location and Functions attachment. The work performed by AVS is listed on the ISO certificate.
There are no exclusions.
The operations are listed in section 10 of the Quality Manual Order
VS1300.2 attached.
FAA Aviation Safety (AVS) must comply with Title 14 of the Code of
Federal Regulations, as those standards and regulations apply to airmen, aircraft manufacturers, repair and maintenance facilities, aviation schools, air operators, aviation agencies, individuals, and organizations.
Moreover, FAA AVS must comply with FAA Order VS1300.2, as amended.
As it relates to standards and the services being procured under this SIR, FAA follows ISO 9001:2015. FAA is not subject to state laws.
We schedule surveillance audits every six months, as stated in SIR Section
C.5. We have a surveillance audit scheduled in June, as the last audit on schedule. It is for 10 audit days.
The current register’s formula or methods are not known, however a multi-site sampling is used .
