Question, the SOW also highlights that "GLS has limited receiving hours ....... with limited forklift capacity". Taking this statement into account and that the complete shipment is over 36,000 pounds, can you please let me know the forklift capacity? Typically, it is 1,000 pounds unless the facility has and heavy-duty lift. that being said, if the forklift can only handle no more than 1,000 pounds, the shipment will have to be split into ~ 36 pallets. Roughly, the pallets' dimensions will be 9' 10" X 48" X 12", with a 2.5' hangover on either side, with an estimated weight of 1,000 pounds each.

GLS’s forklift has a capacity of 9,000 lbs; the awarded vendor will need to coordinate delivery 2 weeks in advance to ensure that there is someone available at the time of delivery to operate the machinery.
